Falcons roll over the Aztec’s 13-0 in the first game of the week

10-3 overall, 3-0 league
Our lady Falcons got their week started off with an easy victory over the Azusa Aztec’s in the third league contest of the season. Terrific play offensively as well as defensively, the hotter than hot Falcons were at it again in this one. Every Falcon who got an at bat, got a hit – banging 14 hits total, batting a sizzling .636 for the game (see offensive stats below). Another program highlight happened after the blow out win. Senior P Alyssa Garcia signed her national letter of intent to attend St. Joseph University (Brooklyn, New York) on a softball scholarship. Congratulations to Alyssa and the entire Garcia family on this note worthy accomplishment. Alyssa is fast approaching untouched territory in Duarte softball history, 500 K’s for her career; easily making her DHS’s strikeout queen.
