The Jefferson Democrats defeated the Verdugo Hills Dons 13-6 in a neutral, non-conference girls varsity flag football game on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilson, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Verdugo Hills Dons by a score of 13-6.
The victory improved Jefferson’s record to 3-1. As for Verdugo Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Coming up, Jefferson will head out to challenge Lincoln at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Verdugo Hills, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Panorama at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
