The Wilson Varsity Girls Flag Football team defeated Verdugo Hills High School by a score of 25-6 on Wednesday September 2 2026.
The victory pushed the Wilson Mules to a perfect 4-0 record for the season, while the Verdugo Hills Dons dropped to 0-2.
Home Dominance: This win marked Wilson’s fourth consecutive victory playing at home.
Verdugo Hills quickly returned to the field later that same day, suffering a secondary 13-6 defeat against Jefferson High School.
The Mules (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA). The Jesters enter the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Saint Joseph thwarted Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA), 25-6, in a non-league contest.
