Both teams tried to pound the other, but El Monte pounded a little more, and El Monte’s Davon Booth was dominant again, sealing the deal with his 4-yard touchdown with 4:15 left to push the Lions’ lead to 12.

Booth and Abel Cueva were sensational, doing what they’ve done all year. Booth finished with 315 yards and three touchdowns and Cueva rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown.

Serra’s Dustan Ellison was tough too, rushing for 186 yards and two touchdowns, but he wasn’t enough to outdual the Lions’ big duo.
