Alhambra wins with a walk off in the 7th with a 7-8 win over Bravo. Bravo got things started in the 1st scoring 3 runs with 2 Moor errors with the Bravo’s Aviles, Pulachet and Cuellos hitting. The Moors tied things up at the bottom of 2nd inning with Alexis Garcia’s double, and an error by Bravo’s pitcher putting Maite on base, and a walk for Sofia loading the bases. Moors lead off batter, Toni, hits a long double clearing the bases with 3 RBIS, 3-3 tied game. Top of the 4th, Bravo takes the lead with Vidales’ hard hit to Ss and Moors errors puts Bravo on top 6-3. Bottom of the 4th, pitcher Alexia Garcia starts things off with a single to right field. Evelyn hits a double to right field scoring Alexia and advances to 3rd on the throw. With 1 out, Maite grounds out scoring Evelyn, score 6-5 Bravo. Top of the 6th, Bravo singles with a hard hit to short. Bravo’s Mendez hits a ball to 3rd who errored, allowing a run to score 7-5 Bravo on top. Bottom of the 7th Bravo leading 7-5, Moors with the top of their line up, Toni hits a ground ball single up the middle,Alison Rubio then hits a single down the 4-3 hole advancing Toni to 2nd, third in the line up is Aleena Ramos who hits a line drive double scoring Toni. Moors down 1 run7-6 with one out, and Alison on 3rd and Toni on 2nd, Bravo pitcher walks Evie loading the bases. Alexis comes up to bat and hits a weak ground ball to SS scoring Alison tying the game 7-7 with 1 out. Evelyn up to bat hits a ground ball to SS who makes a fielders choice to first with Aleena scoring run.
Shout out to our pitchers, Maya and Alexis. Each had 1 strike out and gave up 2 earned runs. Our catcher, Alison, who was a wall at the plate. Let’s also clap it up for Alexis, our freshman, went 3-4 at the plate with 1 RBI, 2 singles and a double. Toni went 2-4 with 3 RBI’s with a single and a double. Aleena went 2-4 with a single and a double and 1 RBI. Evelyn had double and had 2 RBI’s and got the walk off RBI with a fielders choice. Alison had a single with 2 stolen bases.
