Happy Times in Los Feliz yesterday as it was nice to get out and see some division I playoff softball but it wasn’t happy times for Marshall HS as they had to face the amazing and talented right hander Samantha Islas on the mound and Jazlene in the right field who made an amazing catch and drove in two runs.
The Lady Rough Riders played as one unit and got the W behind enemy lines.
It’s on to the Championship for Roosevelt for the 2nd year in a row.
This softball program has been turned around in just a few years and is fast becoming a powerhouse in division I thanks to the hard working, caring and knowledgeable Coach and the parents who believe in the process.
Big Shout to the Great Sarni
for his media coverage of the program. It was Cool seeing you and having that Monster Burger at Astros!
It was also great to see the awesome Coach Godoy!
Godspeed to all of them on Saturday and beyond.

Rider fans come out on Saturday to support the Roosevelt Softball Team at the City Championship at CSU Dominguez Hills. May 18th 12noon.
