The L.A. Roosevelt Rough Riders opened their preseason prep with a joint practice and scrimmage against the rival L.A Woodrow Wilson High School Mules on Friday, August 14, 2026.
A surprisingly large local crowd showed up to watch the opening night of local high school football scrimmages.
The Rough Riders will open up the season on Friday August 21st at home hosting Paramount High School Pirates JV 4pm /Varsity 7pm.
The Wilson Mules will host Van Nuys Grant High School on Friday August 21st 7pm.
