DiRegolo scored the first four points of the third quarter to give the Golden Eagles a 32-30 lead and a three-point play by Nicole Flennaugh gave the Golden Eagles a 50-45 lead entering the fourth. A 3-pointer by Bordonaro put the Golden Eagles ahead, 53-49, with 8:34 to go, but Sonoma State scored the next 15 points and hit its free throws down the stretch to maintain its edge.
