Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 22-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Granada Hills Charter improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Banning (Wilmington, CA) to play the Pilots in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. The Pilots go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Banning won 49-22 in their recent non-league battle against Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA)
The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Mead Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. Franklin will play a Eagles team coming off a 70-14 non-league loss to Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
