Roosevelt “Rough Riders” (27) Arleta “Mustangs” (25 ) Recap: The “Rough Riders (2-1), scored just enough to pull out a close victory over their visitors from Arleta. No problems whatsoever on this night for QB/Sammy Hernandez and his arsenal of strong scoring threats. Although the halftime score favored the Mustangs, (19-14) the Riders scored once in the 3rd & once in the 4th quarter while holding their opponent to only one TD in the 4th. A nice mixture of “Rider” offense and defense were the difference in this game.
