Wilson’s Northern League Defensive MVP, Isaiah Abdullah Commits to Wyoming

Congratulations to Isaiah Abdullah for his outstanding high school football career at Wilson High School, his being named the Northern League Defensive MVP, and most importantly, for being accepted to the University of Wyoming.

The opportunity to play Division I college football and receive a top quality, full scholarship, education at the University of Wyoming, is a dream come true not only for Isaiah, but his entire family. Isaiah getting into college truly is a family victory. Just 11 years ago, Isaiah, his older brother Issac and mother, Sarah, were homeless. Single mom Sarah stayed focused on her family and did what was necessary to secure housing assistance. Sarah also made sure her sons did well in school and stayed active in sports. Isaiah’s college acceptance is a proud culmination of a family’s commitment to stick together and persevere through difficult life challenges. Isaac, who graduated from Wilson in 2017, is excelling in the US Army as an Airborne Infantryman.
