Roosevelt loses to West in home opener

The Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA) varsity baseball team lost Friday’s tournament game against West (Torrance, CA) by a score of 7-0.
In Friday’s non-league bout, the West Warriors (Torrance, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA), by a score of 7-0.
The Rough Riders (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, El Segundo edged Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Warriors encounter the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 22. West will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA).
