The Boyle Heights Youth Festival (BHYFest) is a major, annual youth-led street festival featuring live music, food, resources, art projects, and games. The 2026 event took place on Saturday, June 6th, stretching along 1st Street (from Breed to St. Louis) in Boyle Heights.
100% free community block party featured live music, skate ramps, games, and community resources.
- Including free food (tacos, hot dogs, paletas) and drinks.
- Organization: Planned and operated by youth leaders between the ages of 14 and 24, from vendors and stage booking to stage design.
- Special Guests: “Cobra Kai” actors Xolo Maridueña and Jacob Bertrand served as ambassadors, and the festival featured special performances from live bands.
