Boyle Heights residents outraged as Lineage warehouse firefight reaches day seven

A massive clean-up operation is underway following a fire that burned for a week at a 500,000-square-foot cold food storage building in Boyle Heights. The last hotspots were knocked down Wednesday evening that and a particle pollution advisory also expired.

Boyle Heights residents are sharing their concerns over the millions of pounds of rotting food inside the Lineage cold storage facility, which has been the center of a fire for more than a week.

The restoration process will involve removing millions of pounds of food from the site east of downtown Los Angeles.
