I want to thank all the community supporters who came out to the corner of Huntington Drive and Guardia Avenue for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Veterans Monument. This is a deserving tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country with pride and honor, protecting the liberties that we enjoy in our great nation. I particularly want to thank the El Sereno Veterans Monument Committee, the El Sereno Bicentennial Committee, American Legion Post 139 and the Bureau of Street Services for making today’s event possible.
