After a seven-year absence, the East Los Angeles Christmas Parade returned on Nov. 27.
The parade started at noon at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Whittier Boulevard and proceeded east on Whittier to Goodrich Avenue.
The parade was first held in 1975 and was discontinued in 2009. It is being revived with the assistance of county Supervisor Hilda Solis and the presenting sponsor Coca-Cola.
