Game 2: Cal 10, Hawai’i 2
Acacia Anders got the Bears on the board in the first, lining an RBI double to the wall in left center. Bell made it 2-0, Cal, with a sac fly to right. Roelling was dominant in the circle from the first pitch, not allowing a Hawai’i hit until the fourth.
Cal added to its lead in that fourth frame, scoring three runs, the big one on Butler’s second 2-run shot of the day. Lagi Quiroga and Todd both clobbered 2-run homers in the seventh as Roelling struck out six straight batters who came to the plate to put the game away.
